We call ourselves the friendly club.  We maintain all the protocol of Toastmasters International to ensure everyone can benefit and learn from the various programs, at the same time we keep it friendly, relaxed and fun.  Our members are a varied bunch.  Some are taking time out from running their own businesses, some are retired people, some are students, some are being given time off from work by their bosses.  However, everyone is working towards improving communication skills.

The Toastmasters program has so many facets it is hard to describe the benefits that can be gained.  A member can participate as much or as little as they feel comfortable with.  This means learning can be as fast or as slow as you like.  Some members are working towards overcoming their fear of public speaking, while others are preparing for special events like weddings.  Some are improving presentation skills for work related activities, some are improving interview skills.  There are activities within every meeting that can help any goal you may have.
